Telescopic lift trucks
Telescopic forklifts offer height and versatility. These units are outfitted with a pronged lift on an arm which extends over the top of the truck. The crane, or arm, is known as a telescopic boom. The boom enables the operator to maintain a high degree of control while raising the cargo to great heights. Standard lift trucks aren't able to move the load towards and away from the cab of the forklift, while a telescopic forklift could allow that movement. The telescopic forklift is commonly utilized in both agriculture and construction. It is recommended for applications where greater lift and control is required.
A forklift carton clamp attachments are better in situations requiring high volume carton handling. The attachment has arm pads with four way reversible rubber linings that enable the operator to utilize uniform clamping force when lifting a cargo. It comes with a backrest which protects the loads from damage.
A sleep sheet forklift would often utilize a slip sheet attachment for storing systems which don't utilize pallets. The attachment clamps onto the slip sheet and pulls it onto the forks on the forklift. This type of system is useful for intra-corporate deliveries and for overseas shipments.
A man basket is a lift platform meant specially to lift personnel. The basket attaches to the forklift forks, held in with a strap or chain which is to be directly secured to the forklift carriage. The platform has railings to protect the personnel from falling to the ground. Brackets on the platform are utilized for fastening the worker's safety harness.
