Lull Telehandlers
Lull telehandlers have been in production since the year 1959. They specialize in load placement. For more precise placement capabilities, their patented Stabil-Trak stability system provides much more precise placement capabilities. Lull telehandlers offer various optional attachments and these telehandlers are available to help you accomplish all your requirements, while being efficient and safe at the worksite. If precision and accuracy are really vital, leave it to a Lull telehandler to complete everything you need.
The Future
In order to make rough terrain lift trucks as efficient as possible, numerous attachments have been engineered and developed like booms, winches, and rotating fork carriages, to allow the forklift to place materials more precisely. The booms or articulating booms come with 2 different extendible arms and could reach up and over structures so as to place loads on interior roof slope settings or in the center of upper floors. New products and attachments are being engineered and developed all the time and will debut in the future.
With extra safety features becoming more prevalent, some improvements have been made. Like for example, load-reach management devices could automatically restrict the forklift's reach, based on the load being handled rather than relying on the operator. Pressure sensors are used in order to determine the weight of the load. This information is sent to a tiny electronic memory device that had all the load-reach limitations pre-programmed into it.
The memory of the boom would compare the angle and the extension of the boom with the safety limits, when the load is being placed into position. There is an essential lock-up device or a warning system which prevents the operator from over-reaching and potentially causing the forklift to tip over or the boom to fail.
